These two stories are from Anna's interview with Paul O'Grady the other day.
Yes, of course I knew she'd give me a mention - though I'm more of a guardian angel than a malevolent ghost so nothing to fear - but it definitely was not me who fainted during the play, especially not at that moment when I'm always very wide awake and fully engrossed by her wonderful performance

I was fortunate enough to see Breakfast at Tiffany's on my recent trip to London. Being it was my first time seeing a show in London and Anna on stage I was very excited. Having seen the movie and read the story I was quite intrigued to see how it would fare onstage. Anna did a fantastic performance and you can see how much she enjoys being Holly. The interactions between her and Joe Cross was very enjoyable. In my opinion, I thought the 2nd act was better. All in all, not a bad show. Now Anna needs to make a return to Broadway

Alissa - Glad you enjoyed the show (and London)! I too enjoyed the second half much more as well, and wish to see Anna on Broadway sometime in the future .

I recieved an email notification from the Royal Haymarket announcing that Waiting for Godot is coming back to the Haymarket in January straight after Breakfast at Tiffany's ends.

Aye I also got that email, also spotted the report below on a blog - New York and Japan !!! Will try and find out if this is happening, and if Anna will be starring still... as there are plenty of film offers in the pipeline....
Meanwhile the present incumbent, Breakfast At Tiffany’s will, obviously, end its run at the Haymarket just before Godot moves in.
The play, starring Anna Friel, opened to mixed notices, but she has been a game leading lady and has promoted and marketed the show with a gusto rarely seen in the West End.
Thus Breakfast At Tiffany’s has recouped its costs, taken over 3 million at the box office and will end up making a profit.
Plans are being made to take Breakfast At Tiffany’s to new York and Japan.

New York and Japan? Japan sounds like an amazing opportunity - I had an itch for sure that if the play traveled elsewhere, New York would be a solid bet. Keep us posted Dave .

Yes, maybe Anna could be persuaded to take us with her - to support her, of course - not for a jolly
I've always fancied a trip to Japan (been to NYC, though would be quite happy to go again for something special )

I think its absolutely wonderful that Anna would love to take part in more plays - the very best of luck to her in pursuing this ! She's an outstanding performer, and since this was my first time seeing her on-stage, I must admit, her glow and radiance is captivating up there, she owns that stage.
Looks as if Ann's wardrobe is going to expand even more if she's going to be coming out multiple stage doors over the years .
Thank you for your kind comment Tony, as much as I love traveling to show my support to both David and Anna (and visiting/spending time with their wonderful fans) at some point, I need to give both of them breathing room .
