I hope so. I have to say I think that's just the kind of role Anna will do very well. It will need a good plot, though, and I would worry that they'll struggle to find an original and interesting story-line. The danger is it will be all style over substance and I'm not keen on that. I do think Anna needs to capitalise quickly on her current fame and favour in USA as it's not going to last much longer - 'Pushing Daisies' is already on the slippery slope to history.

I haven't seen Ghostbusters 1 or Ghostbusters 2, but new role (new movie) with Anna - woow Maybe in USA "'Pushing Daisies' is already on the slippery slope to history", but in CZ this TV show started on November Unfortunately with bad translation - Pushing Daisies = Tell me who kills you And Ghostbusters is a comedy, that's right? Because she said that better for her is drama (in interview, I haven't talked with her ). But she's great in everything!

Gosh - I must be getting old then if I'm the only one who can remember Ghostbusters The original movies were certainly not serious drama! They were funny, entertaining films, sort of sci-fi, fantasy, adventure comedy but with decent characters you could care for - a pretty good combination by today's standards. I disagree with Anna - I don't think she shines in emotionally charged scenes. I think she wants to be Meryl Streep or Helen Mirren but she's much more suited to much lighter work. Ghostbusters should be right up her street if they do it right She could learn a lot from Bill Murray - excellent all-round actor.
