Nice pics! Anna's PR machine seems to be in full swing with lots of regurgitated stories about how much she likes living in LA and wants to stay and have more kids there . Windsor is missing her - no excuse for a Christmas shopping trip there this year I get the feeling Anna's agents are touting her about for more local work in LA. After all, 'Daisies' is wilting fast and it's every cast member for themselves. It's now or never for Anna (again!) - can her agents find her another suitable vehicle to continue her re-borne career in the US or will she have to give up her LA pad, the never-ending sunshine, the bright green juice, her dreams of immortality and her hopes of eternal adulation

I try and write something a bit controversial to stimulate some debate and what happens? Absolutely nothing What if I said Anna's hairstyle at the recent Burberry bash must have been a rehearsal for hallowe'en night

I don't know! I try and write something a bit controversial to stimulate some debate and what happens? Absolutely nothing You know: I'm shying when I'm writing something in english - I know that there are many faults But ok, I will conversate and hope that you undestrand I hope she will have a new great job, great role, too. But I think that she will play in movies. Not so many people would have her in TV show because she is known as "Chuck Charles from Pushing Daisies". And it's her "label" For example: In CZ her label is Erzsebet Bathory - not so many people saw another movie or TV show with her. I don't know her the most known movie, Tv show, in America or Britain, but I think, that in America it's Pushing Daisies and in GB could be Irish Jam, Goal or Brookside (that's right?). For me she is excellent actress forever! And it's never change

Hey Parker, thanks I understand fully, your English writing is fine In UK Anna still struggles to shake off her Brookside days, even after all these years and all the other stuff she's done! I too hope she finds something new after 'Daisies' but her track record in movies is not too good and I still think she'll be best off finding a new TV series if she wants to keep herself in the limelight. I hope 'Land of the Lost' turns out well for her as she could do with keeping a movie and TV career going simultaneously ;D That way she won't get too labelled.

How is it possible that for people in GB Brookside is her "label"? I think she was...16, that's righ? .... when she played in this Tv show. And it was a long time ago. Well not so long, you undestrand me, but...I mean that she have played in many many movies and she's still known as Beth

How is it possible that for people in GB Brookside is her "label"? I think she was...16, that's righ? .... when she played in this Tv show. And it was a long time ago. Well not so long, you undestrand me, but...I mean that she have played in many many movies and she's still known as Beth I think it's a combination of factors: Firstly 'Brookside' was a very popular show while Anna was in it - don't forget in those days there were only 4 TV channels to watch, not the hundreds of satellite channels we have now which so greatly disperse the viewers Secondly 'Brookside' was on two or three evenings each week, with repeats at weekends - that's an awful lot of exposure for the main characters, and for some time Beth was very central to the show and featured in almost every episode Thirdly Anna was a very popular figure, firstly as a young and pretty girl she appealed to boys of all ages, and then later as one of the first mainstream lesbian characters on UK TV she appealed to girls too! Finally, while she was in 'Brookside' Anna dated and was then dumped by Darren Day, who at that time was a popular male pin-up and TV star. At first they were the perfect young showbiz couple, all luvvy smiles and glossy photo-shoots, and then when DD did the dirty on Anna - and followed that up by doing the same to other popular young actresses and singers - her love life was played out in public and she kept a very high profile in the nation's psyche as a young and lively soap star. Since 'Brookside' Anna's never had the same on-screen exposure in the UK and much of her work has passed almost un-noticed except by fans like us ;D In contrast the interest in her love life endured much longer in the tabloid papers as she dated pop stars and partied hard and so she's struggled to shake off the association with 'Beth'. Don't forget the 'first kiss with Margaret' and the 'body under the patio' stories still score highly in popular voting for seminal UK TV moments even after all this time. Those scenes clearly remain vivid in the minds of UK TV viewers and are very closely associated with Anna's part in them as 'Beth'. Unfortunately, unless she can land some really cracking roles in TV or movies in the next few years, Anna may yet find that she is never able to eclipse her role as 'Beth'. Do a search on 'You Tube' and you'll find loads of 'Brookside' clips with her, even though her newer stuff is much more accessible.

Yes, I found many clips with her from Brookside (Called "Beth Jordache Lesbian Romance With Margaret/Viv/Chris From Brookside). But it isn't the same like watch it on tv. The full story of this character. Mostly I like the clip, part, when was Christmas and she was with Margaret. M fell off next to christmas tree, B said her true...excellent! They could return this tv show Certainly I would watch it! Or sell DVD with this show.
