A big 'yes, please' for a DVD copy. (Though I'm sure you're not through with my ropey tapes just yet.) Am not going to go on about lurkers and leechers. Have been guilty of a bit of this myself at times. Do keep it up Dave. (I note that a certain villain has not been quite so ready to pinch stuff of late.) Would be good to hear from just a few more members though.
As for Anna looking like Lily Allen! That's horrible, but just imagine if she started a mockney 'singing' career. (The fringed hairdo does look a tad like the cut she sported in 'Coronation Street' all those years ago. Check out the grabs Dave posted recently.)

Coming out of lurking. Just wanted to say to Dave that you've done a fantastic job with the site, board, etc. I had a chance to watch the pilot of Pushing Daisies - wonderful pilot. My biggest concern is they won't be able to sustain the quality for a series.

Are you going to tell us you have one of these 'P.D.' comics, Dave? Green with envy wouldn't be in it.
Hello, gossipcom. Usually I would agree with your scepticism, (where Anna is concerned you'd be daft not to), but this time, no.

joec - unfortunately havent got my grubby mitts on a copy yet - but working on it !!! ;D gossipcom - nice to see another member post on the boards - welcome and have a great time "gossiping" here !! ;D As for Anna looking like Lily - sorry I got lost on that 1... - anyway for all her "mockney-ness", I still like Lily's songs and her style... prefer her to Amy W (although a couple of Amy's songs are stunning !!)

Dave - the Lily comparison was me commenting on Anna's current hairstyle I think it suits Lily better than Anna, but then what do I know Have you seen that clip of Anna planting a huge snog on Lee Pace during one of those panel sessions? What a lucky fella There's talk of a musical episode of PD, much like one they did for 'Buffy' if I remember. Of course we've heard Anna sing live in 'Lulu' and she did a couple of songs in 'Irish Jam' so I'm sure she'll relish that chance. Maybe she can cover a Lily Allen song ;D Anyway, there's been so much tosh about this show on the internet over the last week I'll just be pleased when the show starts and we can see for ourselves.

Yes seen the comic con clip (love the Darth Vader comment!!) - will be adding it to the members area later on to d/l as an avi file... there's also a clip talking to Kristin and she does a quick flash !! (which goes down well with the crowd and Barry S !!)
More info on Episode 2 and 3:
Episode 2 Title - "Dummy"
Airdate - 10th October, 8/7c
Episode Info - We'll see a presentation of Ned's power, it's both a gift and a curse, and it's illustrated with flashbacks to Ned's childhood including dissecting frogs in school.
Ned, Emerson and Chuck later visit the morgue to inspect the body of a victim of a car accident. It's a 45 year old man who specialized in automobile safety. The police is offering a reward to anyone who can find the killer and Emerson wants answers to be able to get the reward. Chuck is asking the wrong questions and the interrogation is taking too long, but they manage to get the information they wanted. With the assistance of Ned, the victim reveals that it's a crash test dummy that is responsible for his death.
Episode 3 Title - The Fun in Funeral
Airdate - 17th October, 8/7c
Episode Info "In Episode Three, the aunts [played by Swoosie Kurtz and Ellen Greene] will be folded back into the story. Chuck holds true to the threat she made in the pilot by baking anti-depressants into her aunt's food--in the form of Ned's pies. Olive delivers one to them and stumbles onto Chuck's secret. Now that she has dirt on Chuck--that her aunts think she's dead--will Olive use it against her to get Ned?"

Is it right that there are two versions of the 'P.D.' comic? (Or is it just people putting up images of front and back covers.) And how are we going to get our paws on one without getting badly ripped off on the postage. (Know myself that to send a similar item to the States would cost no more than £3.00 Airmail.) Seat42F pics are nice. Anna looks a bit 'moist', must be the lights. They've a couple more pics up now. (What has Anna let herself in for. Comic conventions? What happens if the show really takes off?)
Can't compete with people posting in top-grade, fresh material, think I'll just lurk from now on.
(Oh and Dave, do you seriously believe Lily Allen to have some decent tunes? Nah!)

(Oh and Dave, do you seriously believe Lily Allen to have some decent tunes? Nah!) I dont think there are 2 versions - it is a front/back comic which you can read different stories from either side, so I guess that's it... Comic conventions have moved on big time ! - it has moved to TV and film premieres and showreels etc.. granted the name is a bit off-putting !! Yeah I like some of Lily's stuff - seen her once or twice ;D (please dont hurt me !!) Just had a good laugh - I find the seat42f pictures and post them on the site (with a credit piece ), less than 24 hours later they appear on "another site"... ROFL... I suppose I have to help... ;D I've got about another 20 pictures from the comic.con signing and discussion.. will post these up soon.... now lets just see how long it takes lol... ;D NB - the 2 Comic.Con video clips are now in the Members Area - plus "Rubbish" re-encoded and "Bathory" trailer....

Come on Dave, don't give in to conspiracies. Maybe the 'other site' found those Seat42F pics all by itself. As for comic conventions having 'changed'; I'll bet they're still full of badly-dressed, furtive types hoovering up free memorabilia which they intend to rip people off with on Ebay. And as for Lily... Erk, this puts a whole new complexion on things.... Not sure I want to delve into other member's musical tastes.

I know I know - I'm getting cynical in my old age (well middle age- just!)... I'll get some of the other pics sorted and posted tonight ! Hopefully some good news very soon about the new site - its been a while sorting but I'm hopeful to be carrying out some beta testing sooner rather than later...... annafriel.org and annafriel.com become 1 ?

To have a site that featured regular information etc, right from the horse's mouth (so to speak), now that would be good news. (Though what are the chances of you catching annafriel.com-itis and updating the new site about once every eighteen months.) The official site was always so half-hearted on top of it's really obvious drawbacks. A decent replacement can't come soon enough, so top news, Dave.
