Does anyone have any idea how I could get a copy of a novel I've written into Anna Friel's hands, or into the hands of someone who might read it and tell her "Hey Anna, this'd make a great film for you to be the main character in"? Her agents don't reply to post or email — obviously they think I'm nuts, and I'm not going to phone them and let some 20-year-old kid tell me to bog off. But the book is good. Lots of people say so, and it's eminently filmable. The main character is AF to a tee. She'd hardly even have to act.

Hi Dave. I'm saying that the main character in the novel is so like Anna Friel that she would barely have to think about portraying her. I base this judgement on my own perception of her, which I formed from seeing her in various film roles and newspaper reports. It was confirmed by the interview in the Independent in March this year. My wife and I both thought the personality that came across in that article was uncannily like the fictional character I have created. This is why I think she'd be the ideal person to play the part. She's even the same height, I found out today while trawling the web for places to ask about how I might get a copy of the book to her. Any ideas on that? Cheers. RAB p.s. what does the "karma" rating refer to? How does the site know I am a karmic zero?

Hey, that's cool. I was only joking!
Good luck with your book. Keep trying, you never know what fate may have in stall for it.
I've no idea about the Karma rating, but I guess you're only zero 'cos you haven't posted much yet - that should change quickly if you join in the fun!

I would send it to Dave and he can pass it on to Anna or Des (Anna's Dad) & that way you would get a responce good luck with the book.

LOl - I can pass it on... but whether or not you'd garner a response I cannot say.....even if I pass to Des or Anna's PA, it will go through her Agents and Management....

Well, when I found this topic I thought that it's about books what Anna reads And I'm interested in. Does anybody know? What kind of books she's reading?
