Thank you for the heads up Dave! I recently watched the episode with the rehearsals you informed us about earlier, and really enjoyed it. Gave us a good idea of what to expect, and I'm sure we'll get an even better perspective with the following upcoming episodes. Also, thanks for the lovely screen captures! As Dave has stated, I recommend getting there early. From my past experience, I've had to wait in line for 12-15 hours to meet Anna. Waited 20 hours to see her arrive at the Land of the Lost premiere - that was the longest I've had to wait. But the wait is very worth it, she's overwhelmingly kind to her fans !

Well probably wont have to wait 20 hours... but if you want to see Anna prior to the show I would make it there (to the stage door) for at least 2 hours, maybe 3 before the show starts. After the show, you could wait anything from 30-60 minutes depending on how the actors feel, what they are doing, whether they have used a side exit to avoid press/paps etc (as I'm sure there will be a few about to get pics of Anna...). For the first few shows there will be lots of people around waiting for autographs etc (there will be the usual crowd of autograph hunters/collectors/sellers as there was at "Lulu" and who usually wait outside many of the West End stage doors...) so try not to join in with the pushing and barging that some of them do - just wait and give Anna enough space

Omggg If We Go And See breakfast at Tiffany's Can we get our pic taken with her Well it's not guaranteed (sorry but I havent been able to give passes or passwords to get backstage - wish I could ! ). You can usually wait outside the stage doors at many of the West End Theatres and if you wait before and after the show's performances, the actors have to enter and leave the theatre so you can usually catch them for a few minutes for pictures and autographs - although if they are in a rush they will often only sign a few autographs and then have to run in/dash off....

Anna Friel to go blonde for Breakfast at Tiffany'sACTRESS Anna Friel is thinking of going blonde - to recreate a role that was made famous by brunette Audrey Hepburn.
Fans of the classic film Breakfast at Tiffany's might be shocked to see a peroxide Holly Golightly.
But Anna says the new stage version is based more on the book, in which author Truman Capote described Holly as having short blonde hair.
The star, who made her name in Channel 4 soap Brookside and recently starred in acclaimed US comedy Pushing Daisies, said: "The inspiration for the play is the original book rather than the Breakfast at Tiffany's movie.
"We are still deciding whether or not to go with the book's description of Holly as someone with urchinshort blonde hair. We think this will throw people, who'll go, 'That's not Holly!'
"I think this Holly is going to be a much tougher and more complex character than the film version.
"She's an escort who is paid $50 for her company. It is left to the audience to imagine how far she goes for that money."
The play runs at London's Theatre Royal from September 9 until January.Source | Sunday Mail. I wonder if Anna will actually be trimming and dying her hair or wearing a wig for each performance - guess we'll find out in a couple of days . They're definitely staying quite true to the book and Anna seems very devoted to making Holly her own character.

Episode 6 of Theatreland was shown tonight. Although the whole show was about the final performance of Waiting For Godot, it still was a great episode.... the emotion of Sir Ian McKellen after the final performance when he broke down in tears thinking it would be his last ever stage performance was overwhelming..... wish I had been to see the show now !! There was a fleeting glimpse of Anna in rehearsals for BAT at the very end of this week's episode when they were advertising Episode 7... so next weeks episode and the final episode will be totally about BAT... ;D ;D ;D Episode 7 is being shown again on Wednesday at 8.30 and episode 8 is new, I think, on Thursday at 8.00. Both on Sky Arts HD ;D channel 258. I've set my Sky+HD to record - nice to see Sky using HD even if the BBC can't bother for the best drama series on TV See you on stage again on Saturday, Anna. Don't be good.... be BRILLIANT, as usual ;D

Great pics I wonder if they will be putting them a glossy programme for the show. I doubt it - there is already a programme for the show so I wouldn't think they would redesign it... unless the run extends etc. I think the pictures will be used for publicity and perhaps outside the theatre itself... I seem to remember seeing pictures of shows outside other West End plays....
