I honestly wonder if the paparazzi are going to take photographs of Anna EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. My goodness.
I was a bit disappointed that the paps and autograph hunters were interrupting fans and theatre-goers while they were complimenting Anna on her performance or trying to have a conversation with her. I remember a couple of times Anna and I were having a great chat and some autograph hunter just bursts between us rudely to demand she sign some things, argh.

A brief article discussing Anna's style and her suspicions of a friendly ghost haunting the Haymarket. Source | The Daily Mail. I remember the crew telling me about the ghost during one of the many times I was at the doors that kind of stuff creeps me out!

Just saw the show last night, it was amazing We waited for about twenty minutes by the stage door (with a few paparazzi :/ ) & she came out and walked straight over to me, smiling like HI &she spoke to me saying thanks for coming to see it &said 'i loved meeting you' and blew me a kiss, she kept talking to me &i was just standing there like wow! probably looking a bit high. Anna's literally the nicest person I've ever met, she was so sweet, definitely going back

Well I wouldn't recommend it. They might get a bit upset if they found out, and we don't want to cause a scene. Best just to all try and get on

The staff of the theatre are there to handle any issues they perceive need dealing with. I agree with davec - let Anna do her thing and the paps do theirs...

OK Dave
But the way the paparazzi are with Anna its like she is a ball & they are in a Rugby scrum & I just hope they give her a bit of space so she can greet her fans with them screaming Anna this way this way all the time..

Allie - great to hear you had a chance to meet Anna! Sounds like a memorable and wonderful encounter, she's such a sweetheart. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed yourself and the play, you can tell Anna appreciates all of the support and love from her great fans! I feel the same as you do, Anna is definitely one of the kindest people you could meet . Well both Daves are right - they can be a nasty and aggressive bunch that is overly sensitive. One time Anna went around to the front and they missed her, the whole group was absolutely outraged and more determined to catch her the next time they had the opportunity (which was usually after the show). Although one day my friends and I started taking pictures of the paps to annoy them and making comments out loud (that were true), as funny as it was it did indeed irritate them quite a bit.

FRIEL'S BACKSTAGE GHOST HUNTANNA FRIEL is constantly on the look-out for ghosts while she's on-stage in London following rumours of a supernatural presence at the theatre where she is working. The former Pushing Daisies star is currently performing in a stage version of Audrey Hepburn's 1961 classic Breakfast At Tiffany's and reports of a ghoul at the venue have left the actress feeling spooked. Stories suggested the West End production had tempted the ghosts of Hepburn and the novel's author Truman Capote to London's Royal Haymarket Theatre. Despite insisting the rumours are false, Friel confesses she can't help looking out for supernatural encounters backstage - especially after actor Patrick Stewart spotted a spook while performing in Waiting for Godot at the same venue. She says, "Everyone keeps talking about this ghost. Supposedly I think that Capote is in the corner or Audrey Hepburn is there watching, but I've never seen her. Patrick Stewart, who was in Godot beforehand, said he saw it on-stage and it came out of a box. I keep looking now!" But the Pushing Daisies star insists she has opened her mind to the spiritual world - because of ghostly goings-on in her dressing room. She adds, "The music in my room has gone up a few times but I just put it down to an electrical glitch."Source Contact Music. It's not a ghost Anna...it's DAVEC !

MAN COLLAPSES OVER NAKED FRIELANNA FRIEL's nude role in a West End play is having a huge effect on audiences - one onlooker collapsed when the actress peeled off her clothes. The British beauty strips off onstage during her protrayal of Holly Golightly in the new version of classic Audrey Hepburn movie Breakfast At Tiffany's - and the sight of the star in all her naked glory was simply too much for one audience member. He keeled over in the aisle and had to be wheeled out of the auditorium by medics. Friel explains, "During that naked scene, about four days ago, we had a man who collapsed in the audience - but it was during the naked scene and I didn't know if I had done something very wrong or it just happened that he collapsed at that point. "I remember him being carried out on a stretcher, which was a bit distracting."Source | Contact Music. Okay, for sure I KNOW that was DaveC too .
