Hi All! I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can find the songs that Anna sang in this movie? I tried to search for them online but with no luck...  I thought her voice was amazing!! Thanks!  |

Hi Alissa Unfortunately there was never a soundtrack released to "Irish Jam" with the songs on . The songs do exist in full , along with others....(ahem, no guessing which CD I have a copy of...) and are really great songs to listen to Anna's wonderful voice.....but with them never being officially released there is no way to make these available yet..... At some point in the future perhaps this may be resolved ... I know a lot of people and fans have raised this - all I can say at the moment is that I will add any news to the site as soon as I hear it.... Cheers Dave |

my name is adam wilkinson and my fiance and i just finished watching irish jam for the thousandth time lol
i have a real love for annas music in that movie and well after a long discussion my fiancee and i would like to get married and have one of her songs as our wedding song
if we could arrange somethign that would be so wonderful

Anna has a wonderful voice. Does she have any plans to do more recording?

I've gotta say, I just saw the movie Irish Jam, and am now thinking of moving to Ireland just to hear some one sing like Anna Friel. I like to think that someday, a girl will sing a song like that with a smile in her heart because she's thinking of me. If at all possible, I'd also like to hear more of her music. Oh, and congratulations to Adam Wilkinson and your fiancee.

An interesting development on the music front... not from Anna but from Desi (Anna's father) who wrote "my love will carry you" and "sweet morning dew"... He has just released his first (of many I hope) ever CD of original recordings... it is called "Circumstances" and you can hear clips and order the CD from the website: www.desifriel.com/index.htmlFor fans of folk and wonderful acoustic songs with terrific vocals, this is an entrancing album.... check out the superb "Belfast Song" and the wonderful title track... also my favourite is the sublime "If You're Not There" (please drop me a PM if you want to know an interesting fact on this song !) and Adam W, this song may just suit your wedding.... I hope I'm not turning into a pundit on the NME..... but I give the album out of 5 !! ;D  |

I watched this movie and every time that I do it makes me cry in the same place. I love Anna's singing voice! My mom is a vocalist and she was even impressed. I love those old Irish songs too, well I am Irish so I grew up with it from my real mom.

I love these songs too and I wish that one day we could hear all songs, original version Guys on czech forum about Anna say that she should sing the song "Muoj Boze" from Bathory (on CD), not Katarina Knechtova - I think so And about movie - you know that I love it ;D I made some anime avatars from this movie with jokes (ok, I tried jokes, they aren't funny) because when I saw Irish Jam the first I just smile and smile ;D I love Irish Jam!! (But in czech called, if I translate it, "We won't give you a pub!"  ) |

i really loved the two songs that anna sings sweet morning dew esspecially.. i couldnt find them anywhere n i just read that they were never released is there any possible way to get these songs.. i.... would be forever greatful... please let me know ..

Hi!  So guys, does her song really exist or I have to commit a fake suicide because it only exists in the movie? The song is really great and I loved it from the first time I heard it and I've been looking for a long time and couldn't find anything :S.. HALP! |

Guys,
am I the only one who thinks this movie was DREADFUL? Yes, she was gorgeous, she did an amazing acting job and I loved her singing, but isn't she like a shakespearian actress in the middle of a Snoop Dog video? Or isn't Griffin the rapper who stormed into an opera?
She has a couple of beautiful, poignant dramatic scenes (when she discovers Griffin's con and when she asks him not to leave) that amazed me but I felt like the biggest waste of talent of all time. She was throwing diamonds at the wind. For much, much less, Reese Witherspon won an oscar. Anyway... she deserves so much more... what an extraordinary actress.
