When Anna Friel landed a dream role in Pushing Daisies it meant upping sticks to Los Angeles and perfecting an American accent.
But the Rochdale-born actress went to great lengths to stop her young daughter Gracie picking up a Yankee twang, too.
"We had a great time in LA," Anna tells the Mirror, "but I made sure that I kept Gracie's accent where it should be by employing a fantastic nanny called Eileen, who is from the North of England.
