ANNA FRIEL - FRIEL DODGES NEGATIVE PRESS COMMENTS
PUSHING DAISIES star ANNA FRIEL avoids reading articles about herself - because she can't help obsessing over all the negative comments.

The British actress once installed a 'Google alert' on her home computer in a bid to keep up-to-date on press cuttings featuring her name - having every article about her automatically sent to her email inbox.

But Friel admits she had to get rid of device when she started worrying about critical remarks.

She says, "I completely forgot about it until these emails started popping up.
"There can be great comments, but read just one negative thing and that's all you can think about. So I had to be strict and say 'Get that thing off!'"

I actually received this article in my Anna Friel Google News Alert . Many webmasters (including myself) depend on that nifty little device to get most of my news sources for David/Anna related articles.

Anna has a point though, harsh remarks can leave quite an impression . We as fans will always love Anna, and will continue to ignore all of the rude comments the press writes about her.

Anna Friel Refuses to Read About Herself
Friel — who recently returned to the UK to prepare for her stage role as Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany’s on London’s West End — says she has asked her longtime partner David Thewlis to remove Google Alerts from her computer.

“David put a Google alert on my computer — which emails you when there’s news or a story about you on Google — and I completely forgot about it until these emails started popping up,” she said.

“There can be all these great comments, but read just one negative thing and that’s all you can think about."
