Friel's daughter wants her to get hitched
Anna Friel has revealed that her young daughter is keen for her to tie the knot with David Thewlis.
The couple have been together since 2001 and welcomed the arrival of their first child Gracie four years ago, but they still remain hesitant about going ahead with a wedding.
"It's the question we're both asked the most," Friel is quoted by Now as saying. "And now Gracie keeps saying, 'Mummy, when are you getting married?'
"I suppose that puts on a bit more pressure, when your daughter's asking, but if things work, why change them?"
The Pushing Daisies actress also vowed to stay quiet about any plans for a second baby until she actually falls pregnant.
She commented: "I'm wondering when would be the best time to have a second child. I think it's something you can't plan. You have to throw caution to the wind and let it happen.
"Besides, I would never tell people that I was trying for a baby. It's like saying, 'Yes, we're having lots of sex'."
Friel recently returned to UK screens with a one-off role in The Street.

Ah, first the press was pestering David and Anna about getting hitched and now their daughter is asking along as well
I remember a few articles back when Anna revealed that Gracie had been constantly asking them for a baby brother or sister as well. Quite a cute and persistent kiddo but she'll understand her parents circumstances someday when she gets a bit older.
BUT YAY! Potentially more baby Friel-Thewlises in the future
