Thought I'd start a thread for everyone to leave their best wishes for Anna as she starts the run of "Breakfast At Tiffany's" in a little under 2 days...... So I'll start it off.... Anna - all the best for your new project. Good Luck for the first night and each subsequent night (and matinee) performances. We all know you will be amazing in the role of Holly and here's to some excellent reviews from audiences and critics alike.... Don't worry too much, there are bound to be the occaisonal hiccups - but I'm sure with each performance you're bound to grow and grow into the role. I hope to see the play very soon and hope we can hook-up sometime while I'm down in London....  ;D |

Thanks for starting this thread Dave!
I accidentally ran into Anna this evening while I was watching the production crew put the finishing touches on the props behind the theater for a couple of hours - I told her best of luck from myself and us and gave her a couple of hugs - we can't wait to see her on-stage, the big day is tomorrow. She seemed quite nervous, I've been praying a lot for her that she will pull through wonderfully.
GOOD LUCK ANNA!!!!! We'll see you soon!

She was absolutely stunning, caught my eye straight away from across the street - she was wearing a nice little blue/green outfit and her black low-rise Chucks - her hair is not blonde though, she had it up so I couldn't tell if she's cut it shorter or not either.
The show is tonight! Anna will do outstanding, I know it, very proud of her! Gunna go grab her a few flowers tonight from us and see if someone near the back doors can pass them along to her.

Going tonight and cant wait less than 4 hours now !seems forever since I saw Anna last on stage in Lulu.
Got a day seat today and didnt queue for that long and I am dead centre in the front row of the stalls!

I will be geting the papers tomorrow for the reviews on the show Amanda if you can can you get the free papers & get me a copy of each plz as they do reviews in them & it would be nive to see what they have put about the show.

From what I've heard from Amanda, the show was "flawless" (Amanda's description) and full of excellent performances - Anna's vocals and guitar playing being really exceptional !! Davec - I think you're going to enjoy it (especially 1 scene which will no doubt get everyone talking !!) Lots of paps at the stage door after the show - had a great time listening to them on the phone with Amanda - all arguing as the Stage Manager asked them to leave so Anna could talk with fans,sign autographs without 1000 flashes going off... Yes the play was extraordinary! Cannot wait to see it again on Saturday and Gala night - Anna was indeed 'flawless' - she sang very well and I was listening in on the conversations of others following the show and they had nothing but excellent things to say about her performance, well done Anna! Very proud of her! I waited to congratulate her at the back doors, it was only myself and a couple of other fans, the other many were paparazzi and autograph hunters. Anna came out briefly and was overwhelmed by flashes, we just had a chance to hug very quickly, I had Dave on the phone so I asked her if she could say 'Hi Dave!' to him and she was more then happy to  I waited for her to come out again well past midnight (by this time it was freezing!) and it was just me and her driver outside waiting by this time - she was surprised that I waited - but I told her I was very proud of her and that her performance was outstanding. No pictures from myself - but you can see me in quite a few of those pap pics from the Daily Mail. |

It seems that at tonight's (saturday evening) show, myself, Amanda, davec and tony will be attending . ;D
If any other members or visitors to the forum wish to say hello, to help you spot me I'll probably be wearing either a black/silver shiny Henleys top or a black D&G long sleeved top, probably with a black jacket (unless its very very warm !)...

What a great show I can't wait to see it again.
I love the 2 jokes about past works that are in the script its as if the script was writen for Anna about Anna with those jokes in the script.
Anna's singing is amazing Anna's dad, David & Gacie can be very proud of her.
The only down side is the pap hounding Anna I just hope they give up after awhile once the show opens on the 29th Sept.
We are all proud of you Anna for doing a great job in the show.

Well Saturday turned into the un-official "Official" Website day at the play... with myself, Amanda, davec and tonyaf216 all attending... Watched the play - which is superb, dark, humourous and melancholic - and met with Anna twice , before and after the play, with the meet after being a personal invite for all 4 of us to visit Anna up in her dressing room, have a chat, sign a few bits and bobs , take some uber-cool pics (yes we all gave a pose esp Anna!), and leave with a hug and a wave.... So grateful for Anna allowing us up to her room to discuss the play and recent events/projects - many many thanks Anna , and the play is exactly what we knew it would be - excellent and a flawless performance Can't wait to see it again, and again !! More thoughts later (when I've had some sleep !) and yes - those EXCLUSIVE pictures will be posted very soon !! |
