It would seem (accroding to an e-mail I received and also a Google Alert) that Anna has now purchased a new house in the LA hills.... The alert e-mail I received actually states the "Market Price" and the actual "purchase price" that Anna paid. ... (it would seem that all this is a matter of public record in the US !!) If she fancies a change from TV and movies - she can always go into Property Development !! (I can feel a BBC1 mid-morning show fast approaching.... ) (Actually just looked it up on Virtual Earth - looks a very nice property.... ;D )

You can see some pictures at the link below - and a strange commentary Looks like a nice place, but not too sure about the paint colour in the bathroom. I wonder if Carol Smillie's available (Yes folks, that's her real name!) realestalker.blogspot.com/2007/09/anna-friel-who.html(It's easily found on a blog search, so I hope I'm not giving away anything too secret)

Blimey!! Must get myself a career in bad films and ropey adverts.
Does this mean confidence that 'P.D.' will run and run or lead to other well paid L.A. work? Or is your property developer quip spot on, Dave? Doubtless DT might have chipped in a few pence.
Love the way it is described as having 'old world' charm. It was built in the 1930's!!! Guess that it counts as a Tudor manor in L.A. terms.
Re your link, davec. 'Strange commentary', you are not kidding. Warped rubbish from someone living in another solar system.

Think you are right, Dave. Very, very suspect. I wonder at the motivation of this 'realestalker' character and probably wish I hadn't seen that site. Smacks of something more than a little sinister.

Wow! Congratulations to Anna! The house is very beautiful and...I adore the kitchen ^_^ !
It's a very nice area, only 10 mins away from where I'm living - everything around the area (shopping, food, parks, entertainment) is fantastic.

Does look a decent house, though certainly would be more jealous if it was in Frisco. Wonder how much a similar property would cost in London or one of the swankier areas on the South Coast of England.
What's that, four properties, A and DT own between them now? Look out Robbie Fowler!

I've just come across this excerpt from the Sunday Herald: Anna is former Brookside actress Anna Friel, mother of Thewlis's two-year-old daughter Gracie and star of US television drama Pushing Daisies. So home, for Thewlis, is currently LA, where they live in a rented house in Beechwood Canyon, next to the Hollywood sign. He is, he admits, a full-time dad.^_^

DT broached the subject of '.....Dr Moreau' in the Radio4 'Front Row' interview he did a couple of weeks back. Think the writing was on the wall when he was warned by Kilmer and Fairuza Balk to get on the first plane out of there, on the day he arrived. Frankenheimer did some decent films, but I guess by the time of '...Dr Moreau' he had lost it big style.
Would like to hear the inside stories of some of A's shoots sometime.
