Thanks for the link Tony, but aaaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh what an awful show Stansted airport is the pits and I was never a fan of 'Little Britain' so this just makes me want to puke! It makes 'Pushing Daisies' seem like a witty, wonderful show. Anyway, Anna has a part playing herself as a bald passenger who's lost her wig on the plane and is 'helped' by one of the caricatures in the airport. There is one funny line when her helper shouts 'Stop staring at Anna Friel!' to passing passengers. Even bald Anna is beautiful so who could help but stare Anyway, here's a montage of Anna, in full baldness and a variety of silly wigs. Can you see the join Attachments:

I wonder what intrigued her to take that small role I don't know how well-known Walliams and Lucas are in the States, but to be fair they have a strong following in the UK as a result of their 'Little Britain' shows of a few years ago. There are lots of star cameos in this new series as the premise of a mock reality show in an airport lends itself to those kind of parts. I just don't like their shows - they parody unacceptable behaviours (racism, homophobia and general disrespect) but also give those behaviours some credibility with viewers who cannot understand the parody. Just not my cup of tea, I guess, but many enjoy their comedy, Anna amongst them presumably. To be fair Walliams and Lucas do an awful lot of charity work and I have no problem with them as role models, just their characters. P.S. In case the viewers of this show didn't get the joke regarding Anna's baldness they even spelt it out in advance by referencing her Pantene shampoo adverts.

I think she's mentioned being a fan of "Little Britain". In the US its got about the same popularity as "The Mighty Boosh". Hahahaha! That is clever. She has so much hair though, how did they hide it all beneath the mock baldness?! Unless she's shaved her head recently looks pretty realistic.

Yes, very good isn't it, even on my large screen HD TV it looks for all the world as though she's shaved her head My guess is that they slick her hair back and it hangs down the back of her neck. That's why she's wearing a coat with a high collar at the back, and she doesn't take it off even in the first class lounge. The make-up artists on the show are top-class when you think almost all the diverse main characters are played by the same two actors. I wonder what Anna thinks of how she looks with no hair

I wonder what Anna thinks of how she looks with no hair Didnt hear about this at all and I think I agree you davec... this show is awful, and I'm sorry to say I thought this was not one of Anna's finest hours.... I did like "Little Britain" for about 1 show... then the repetition sets in... the show survived on 1 joke played over and over. And was as you describe davec - a non-parody of supposed "racist", "bigoted" and "sexist" attitudes...And "Come Fly With Me" is the same thing played out in an airport.. but it is one of the worst comedy shows I've ever seen. Matt Lucas was quite good as George Dawes on Shooting Stars (where Vic and Bob have a unique surreal routine), but I dont like him in LB or CFWM at all. As for David Walliams, I dont think he has any talent at all - except for perpetuating the theory that he may or may not be gay/bisexual on every talk show or game show he is on.. very tiring...
