Hi guys
Been adding some of the TG promos I've received to the gallery, from the company who have produced the film.
Added 7 or 8 with a few more to come... I'll try and convert the trailer and add it for download for members - the QT mov file I have is 2.5GB !!

Well I've just watched this movie - it's available on DVD albeit in German language. It was filmed in English but financed mainly by Germany (Pro7 TV network very involved). The German words emanating from Anna's character on my DVD is not her voice.
It has the feel of a TV movie designed to network around Europe with all three main characters from different parts of Europe and presumably quite well-known in their own countries. Also, it's a bit of a travelogue to enable viewers to spot locations in their own countries. The only British location is Oxford and that only briefly. Some of the locations are 'virtual', being added onto studio shots, and some are more obviously virtual than others!
Anna's acting is fine. Her part is well within her comfort zone of feisty, intelligent English career girl, and she is totally unstretched by the simple story line and uninspired script. She looks good in a variety of simple costumes, runs about a bit, pretends to abseil, dodges a few dodgy bullets and almost sleep walks through the film as the audience snoozes.
No, it's not a great piece of cinematic work. Cliched? Anna jumps into a convenient taxi, 'Follow that car!' A ridiculous chase ensues. Ho hum.
This story has been told so many times, and so much better, that the whole film seems rather pointless. As for why Anna did it? No idea!

Now have a copy with original English voices - obviously filmed in English and dubbed into German !! Must say it isnt that bad - found it to be fine... not a classic but OK... and of course screengrabs, and the rest of the promo pics as soon as I can sort the loads of pics I have to add !!  |
