New Forum Style

Well no doubt everyone will have noticed the new style and layout of the forums.

Many many thanks to Amanda for designing the code/graphics and passing this on for me to use.

As it only came through the other day, if anyone notices anything that isnt working or looks a bit odd, let me know and I'll look at whether I've set it all up correctly....

Hoping everyone loves the new layout!

Definitely let us know if anything is malfunctioning and I'll try to make code adjustments quickly for Dave so he can fix it easily in the future.

Yes, I certainly noticed the difference!

I love the title banner but I have to confess I can hardly read the words in the posts

I'm going to have to turn the contrast up on my monitor - or get some new specs - or probably both ;D

But Davec is right, it's a bit hard to read. Couldn't be more contrast between the text and the background?

edit: Oh, and a "normal" smiling smiley woud be great, because when you tipe : and ) you get
(I am smiling now, but can't find the sign)

Made the text slightly darker.... does it look better for everyone ?

Glad everyone is enjoying the layout!

I've sent Dave a new code to make the text darker - now it should be readable on everyone's monitors no matter the web browser or contrast settings on your screen.
