The Land of the Lost premiere will be at the famous Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Saturday, May 30, 2009. I'll be going to take pictures for the Site, so many people attend premieres at this theater that I'm sure I'll be deaf/crushed/dehydrated/exhausted by the end of it, but just for a brief glimpse of Anna will be worth it. If anyone needs any further information, feel free to send me a PM. Information and Sources | Tinker and Navigate Hollywood. Many many thanks to Sam for her notification .

Another article, it's quite similar to the one above, but includes a new image of Anna during filming; Anna Friel on Land of the LostAnna Friel makes a very sexy Holly in the Land of the Lost movie. You’d get in trouble for saying that about the show, where Holly was just a little girl. But Friel showed up to set in what could barely be called khaki shorts and a flimsy tank top, all Lara Crofted out.Source | Can Mag.

Danny McBride on "Land of the Lost"Either way, McBride was happy to lend his services to rescue the lovely Friel, who plays Holly in the film. “I've said before, it's really incredible. She's the first real live British person I've ever met. They don't just live in history books like I thought, so that's cool. It's kind of neat to have your eyes opened like that. It's really cool, it's real, just like the dinosaurs are.”
To be serious for a moment, but only a brief moment, McBride credited Friel with grounding some of the film’s outrageous comedy. “She's really funny. When I read the script, a lot revolves around that character because the world of the science and the theories, she balances Will out in a way. You really needed someone that was going to be able to sell this like tachyon meters and these weird theories about Land of the Lost to make it seem like it's real. The British accent just legitimizes so many things you would not believe.” Source | Can Mag. Of course thanks to Google News Alerts as well .

Anna Friel Interview on 'Land of the Lost'On the Set of 'Land of the Lost' with Anna FrielFrom Fred Topel, for About.comAnna Friel filled her downtime from the TV series Pushing Daisies (now cancelled) with a lead role in Universal Pictures' Land of the Lost co-starring Will Ferrell and Danny McBride. Friel wasn't familiar with the classic Saturday morning TV series before taking on the part of Holly in the feature film, but Sid and Marty Krofft - creators of the original series – made sure she had a box set. Now both Anna and her young daughter are fans of the '70s series and its crazy collection of dinosaurs and Sleestaks.
On the set of the action comedy, Friel joked with journalists that it was "f--king fantastic" to be the only female on the set. "No, it’s nice because the main thing is not just being the only girl, but because it’s only a cast of three - and obviously Chaka [played by Jorma Taccone] - so it means we’re all in every scene together every day, so I’ve just made brilliant, brilliant friends. I don't know about being the only girl. I think I’ve just had to make myself a little bit more boy-sie because you get into those jokes. I didn’t know I was the first to fart," said Friel, laughing. "The boys’ll probably tell you. It was like that ketchup, I’ve never been so red in all my life."
Anna Friel Interview
Your Holly is different from the show. "Slightly."
Who is she? "If you’re going to turn a TV series into a movie, you’ve got to make sure it has all those elements and they’re going to keep it interesting. I think they wanted to have some kind of a love story involved and incest wouldn’t go down quite well in a PG-13. So no, she’s 14, I’m 31. She’s American, I’m English. I wear braids and we do have the plaid shirt and the cords. We have the old cords which are exactly the same in the beginning but as the movie goes, the cords disappear and the legs start to show because she’s 31 now, so I think she’s allowed to do it."
How does it feel to wear it day in day out? "I was thinking that I’d get pretty bored of it but to be honest, first of all I feel quite naked, when you’re with two other men and all of a sudden, 'Okay, I have nothing to hide behind, nothing to cover, no accent to disguise.' So it’s quite vulnerable making. But then the idea of not having to go and put all the big fluffy dresses on is kind of nice. It doesn’t set you aside from the men. I can kind of be one of the boys and not have to be fussing with lashes and hair all the time. Same with costume."
When did you first come to the project? "I’m on a show called Pushing Daisies and I’m the only person I think that I know of where the strike actually helped me, because it gave me the ability and the chance to be able to do this. They talked about me for a while but said, 'Obviously we can’t have Anna.' And I knew Avy Kaufman, the casting director, and they said, 'No, don’t be silly. She’s on the TV show.' Then when the strike happened, Brad said, 'Actually, can we get Anna? Maybe we can do it.'
It was really difficult because none of us could work and none of us were being paid. Brad said, 'Well, just come and meet me,' and I did. He said, 'Have you heard about Land of the Lost?' I was like, 'No.' I didn’t think we had it in England but then I found out that on Saturday mornings we did at some stage, but I never got to see it. It didn’t become a big hit as it did here. And he said, 'I’m going to give you the script.' And I said, 'Well, should I go and watch the TV show?' He said, 'No, no, no, because it’s different. You’ll go away thinking you have to go and dye your hair blonde and be 14 when you’re not. It’s changing a lot.' So we talked about things and I went away with my script. I’d gone skiing over Christmas and they called saying, 'Will wants to audition with you.' So I came back and went to Brad’s offices and auditioned with Will. One of the scenes that I’m actually going to do this afternoon is one of the ones I had to audition."
Which scene? "Well, it’s three. One was shouting at the dinosaur at the end, Grumpy. Another one was, Holly’s a great translator and speaks fluent Pakuni language so she’s the only one who can actually understand Chaka. Chaka’s like [gibberish]. She’s like, 'Right, what he’s saying is that he really loves to rape apples, basically.' She gets it wrong, but gets better as she’s going. I’m kind of playing everything really straight. I’m not playing for the comedy because when you’re working with Will and Danny who are just brilliant and go off on all these improvisations, I’m trying to give them as much of just a straight Holly who’s been to Cambridge and thinks Marshall’s absolutely brilliant even though he makes the wrong decision and he’s a big of an idiot sometimes. She thinks, 'Well, he did get us back to Land of the Lost,' so I think there’s a lurking genius somewhere hidden and it’s just all his eccentricities that make him behave so strangely."
How hard is it to stay straight? "It is quite hard but then the thing is, you realize how serious because they manage to stay straight faced most of the time. If Will goes, then you just forget about it. There was this one scene where he has to do this dance through hatching dinosaur eggs along to the chorus line. He literally sets off, we hadn’t seen it before, because he’d been doing all his coverage and we’d come back and it was on Danny and me and Jorma. He just did this silly dance. We all just went, 'Mmmm.' Yoga breathing helps, I find. I pull in certain private female muscles quite a lot. I bite the inside of my cheek, just kind of various things because if you then crack up, everyone goes around going, 'Anna!' So you don’t, but there’s a lot of times I really, really wanted to laugh. He hit me in the eye with a stone the other day and they all couldn’t stop laughing at that. Thankfully, it was a sponge one. It was made out of sponge but it still got in my eye and we had to keep going. They found that hilarious."Source | About.com, and thanks to Google News Alerts. LOL!!!!! I look forward to all of these interviews when they arrive in my inbox, they're hilarious! I absolutely cannot wait for this film ;D .

Exclusive First Look: 'Land of the Lost'Visiting the set of 'Land of the Lost' on the Universal lot felt a little bit like being sucked into the same time and space vortex the movie's characters get transported through.
After walking through a sea of incredibly good-looking sleestaks (see below -- it's not just me who thinks they're hot), the soundstage doors opened and immediately welcomed us into the Land of the Lost. And not the campy '70s TV version either -- we're talking giant 100-foot rock formations, an altar with a fiery pit at the center of it and, of course, the movie's stars Will Ferrell, Anna Friel and Danny McBride.
So what about the romantic sparks we saw between Will Ferrell's character Rick Marshall and Anna Friel's character Holly? Ferrell dished the good stuff: "This is part of the climactic end of the movie. It was basically ... I got to make out with Anna Friel. Not a bad day at all. And she's a decent kisser, I'm happy to report. I was a little skeptical at first, cuz I'm an amazing kisser."
Anna Friel explained that a few things have changed from the original TV series: "We can imagine the blogs going, 'Holly? She's not only English, but she's not 14, and she's not blonde!" And the same with Will [played by Danny McBride] -- he was the brother. So we all change somewhat. But Holly's, I think, is the biggest change."
Friel's daughter Gracie might just be a toddler, but she proves you're never too young to appreciate the sleestaks: "She's only 2, but she strokes the sleestaks," Friel admitted. "They're quite handsome underneath those suits ... [laughs] they're very tall. Hot sleestaks!" One fun fact that Gracie might be too young for: those tall, hot men got the sleestak costumes on every day with the help of a spray bottle of KY lubricant. Last year, ComingSoon.net visited the Los Angeles set of Universal Pictures' Land of the Lost, coming to theaters on June 5th. During the visit, we talked to stars Will Ferrell, Danny McBride and Anna Friel, and saw many of the incredible sets.
In the Brad Silberling-directed comedy adventure, based on the classic TV series created by Sid & Marty Krofft, Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall who gets sucked into a space-time vortex and spat back through time. Way back. Now, Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world - a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the Land of the Lost. Sucked alongside him for the adventure are crack-smart research assistant Holly (Friel) and a redneck survivalist (McBride) named Will. Chased by T-Rex and stalked by painfully slow reptiles known as Sleestaks, Marshall, Will and Holly must rely on their only ally - a primate called Chaka (Jorma Taccone) to navigate out of the hybrid dimension.Credit | Tannim ! Source | Coming Soon. It's really worth watching - Anna and crew are hilarious! She admits Danny constantly makes 'British' jokes to tease Anna on-set.

I downloaded the promotional Land of the Lost game on my iPhone, its actually pretty fun and addicting (also really random and hilarious!) you play as a mini digital Will Ferrell running around battling Sleestaks and doing the most random of things to get from level to level (with Anna's voice cheering you on).
Aside from the game, it has the trailer and promotional photos that I've never seen before and I can't find them online anywhere! It has nine brand new promo images of Anna that are really nice! I'm going to see if I can somehow get them off of my iPhone and upload them so you all can see them somehow...

Two video interviews with Anna taken last July (2008) at ComicCon - She discusses Land of the Lost very frequently, which is why I think these videos are being released barely recently; Video 1 and Video 2.
