Remembered a mention in an article (think it was in the Evening Standard) about Anna posing in the buff for an artist called David Remfry. Yonks ago I searched for this and found no sign anywhere, just plenty of Remfry's not exactly sparkling output. Anyone else have any idea about this? What I did find at the time was a portrait of Anna in her 'Lulu' pierrot costume by Stuart Pearson Wright which was apparently commissioned by the Almeida Theatre and used in the production. (Didn't see the play myself.) Expect most of you have seen it. Does anyone know where there is a higher quality version than the 50-odd K picture at thesaveloyfactory.com?

Not heard about the Remfry painting....except from the interview
As for the pierrot painting, as far as I know it was on a wall in Anna's Clerkenwell residence... ;D - I do remember having some pics with it on, and perhaps a larger version of the painting itself... will have a dig through my archives...

Guess that the pierrot painting would have been shown in the article on the 'Thewlis Pad' in The Times magazine? I missed this, not being a reader of the Murdoch papers does have some drawbacks. Would be very grateful for anything you can dig out. It is always the stuff around the edges that interests me. Think I'm probably glad there is no sign of a Remfry portrait. Can't say that his work impresses me much. Looks a bit like the kind of stuff the arty girls at school used to paint on the walls of the sixth form common room. Was this nude posing for an artist some form of Kate Moss emulation? Re Mossy posing for Lucian Freud.
