You Drive Me

For anyone who has yet to see this short film from 1996 it's currently available to watch on YouTube at the following link:

It's nine minutes long and seems to be the whole film. It stars Anna, a bloke called Andrew Tieman and that lovely light blue Sunbeam convertible that Anna's pictured with in this photo, which is evidently a promo shot for the film:

I have to say it's not edge of the seat stuff and I'll let others comment on the quality of the acting, script and production, but it's part of Anna's portfolio of work that I'd never seen before, and there's not much of that - except 'The Jury', and I'm still hopeful that series will surface one day on some obscure UK satellite channel.

I have loads of promo shots and behind the scenes photos from the set, but didnt have the actual programme itself !!

(Just checked this again for Anna and it shows an unrealised project from 1998 called "Blood Relative".....very strange... by no means a complete record though which again is very strange)

I have a copy of 'You Drive Me' on a pretty ropey VHS. I taped it when it was originally shown in a season of shorts on BBC2. I also have a short 'behind the scenes' piece from 'The Big Breakfast' (I think) which features some interview footage of Anna. Again this is on a ropey VHS (probably the same one). Have quite a few of Anna's TV appearances from the immediate post-Brookside period. Will have to fish the tapes out and refresh my memory.
(Not to be more of a pedant than usual, but her co-star in 'You Drive Me' is Andrew Tiernan (not Tieman). He is an OK character actor who crops up in quite a few films and the odd TV drama. Saw him in 'The Pianist' just the other day.)
