Just amazing during a summertime. It is a Czecho-Slovak record this summer. Please find below a list of top five: Not sure with original name - sorry for our English native friends. 1. Bathory 2. Xfiles 3. Kung Fu Panda 4. Hancook 5.Narnie - princ Kaspian Concerning 3rd part of movie - Not sure but it was a logical result in this movie. For me it was a quite long. Because of lenght - 140min, I would understand more to split it in two parts with a short cofeebreak. As in Lord of the Rings. The truth is that Mr. Jakubisko took a big portion of history and emotions which probably needs three parts. It looks like in the end of this summer everyone of us in ''Czechoslovakia'' will see Bathory

Glad to hear that the film is doing wonderfully & beating out those large blockbuster films!!!
Agreed - If it gets an Oscar nod or two, that'll be fantastic, especially if Anna would be considered or nominated ;D !
Thanks for all the updates!

As far as this film goes I'm not changing my opinion. 'Here I stand, I can do no other.'
All together, 'Beautiful film. Beautiful Anna. Beautiful film. Beautiful Anna....' Say it enough times like the unnerving mantra of some creepy otaku and you might start to believe it.

This is really nice number, isn't it? When I read all opinions in CZ have to say that 50% hate that movie and 50% love it. The same as with oysters nothing between. But almost 100% saying that Anna is great in it

I love Anna as Erzsebet Bathory! When I saw her the first in this movie, it was on her birthday ;D But it was in czech. The second I was in Prague on english version - it was better! Really! I don't know, when could be premiere in USA, but....enjoy!

For those who have seen the movie, was the addition of Caravaggio fictional? I've read many books, including a new release about Elizabeth Bathory (Bathory: Memoir of a Countess and also Blood Countess) and there is no mention of the artist. Sometimes it's hard to sort out fact from fiction.

Sometimes it's hard to sort out fact from fiction. Well, it's not about Anna But Caravaggio never was in Hungary or Transylvania, just in Italy Štiavnický, Jakubisko...everybody write, that it is the fiction Find on youtube EBathoryWeb and on videos she has dokument about him - in czech. For the next time - talk about Anna
