I was checking the Friday night chat show line-ups, but no sign of Anna It's probably a bit early yet for PD plugging but I do hope she makes it onto Wossie's show sometime I was always disappointed she never made it onto Graham Norton's show (there was some internet chatter that she was lined up, but she never appeared) and Wossie is the best around at the mo IMHO for a bit of irreverent fun with his guests I doubt Anna will appear on Wossie's show .... just dont think it's her style... ..but.... never say never.... . I used to like him in his earlier C4 days but his show now isnt about the guests - its ALL about him....

I doubt Anna will appear on Wossie's show .... just dont think it's her style... ..but.... never say never.... . I used to like him in his earlier C4 days but his show now isnt about the guests - its ALL about him.... For the benefit of our US friends 'Wossie' is Jonathan Ross, a talk-show host and TV film critic who cannot pronounce his 'r's pwoperly His Friday night show is based IMHO on Letterman and Leno's kind of show in the States - lots of gags from the host, an idiosyncratic house band and a relaxed, irreverent style of interviewing where the interviewer often talks more than the guest (hence Dave's comment). He gets some decent quality guests - Tom Hanks last week for instance - mostly peddling goods. In spite of Dave's comment I still fancy seeing Anna pit her wits against Ross. He's bound to flirt with her and it could be fun to see how she deals with that - hopefully put him well in his place Anyway, I'd like to expunge the memory of Anna's previous chat show appearance with Clive Anderson - she looked great (I actually rather liked her short, slightly reddish hair phase) but was obviously very nervous and didn't really do herself justice. Older and wiser now, I reckon she'd do just fine (Go easy on the language, though girl!)

me again!! now from daily mail!! www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/showbiz/showbiznews.html?in_article_id=512074&in_page_id=1773 in case the site isnot rigth ... ""Why did Anna Friel look so full when she left the The Ivy? By JAMES WHITE - More by this author ยป Last updated at 12:47pm on 4th February 2008 Actress Anna Friel showed every sign she had enjoyed her dinner when she was spotted leaving The Ivy restaurant over the weekend. The former Brookside actress wore a dramatic black and gold dress which hugged her new-found curves. Leaving Los Angeles where she has moved with her two-year-old daughter Gracie and partner David Thewlis, the 31-year-old visited London where she ate at the popular celebrity haunt. Last month Friel admitted to feeling homesick and now it appears she has found a reason to come back to Britain - decent-sized meals at the exclusive restaurant. She said recently: "I miss my mum and dad massively. I've never, ever not had a Christmas at home with my parents and LA seems the wrong environment for it." Friel has recently landed her first major Hollywood movie role as she is set to star alongside funnyman Will Ferrell in a dinosaur comedy called "Land of the Lost." The stunning actress has been hand-picked to play a sexy scientist in the film, loosely based on a 1970s TV show , due to the success of the supernatural series "Pushing Daisies". Last night, a Hollywood insider revealed: "TV viewers love Anna. She's extremely popular in the USA." Friel has enjoyed critical acclaim in the US for her role as Chuck in Pushing Daisies which led to a Golden Globe nomination for best TV comedy actress. Although she has admitted that juggling parenthood with a Hollywood career can be difficult, she says it helps to have Gracie on set each day. "There's no better set for any child to come and visit than Pushing Daisies. She comes in and there's monkeys on the set and fields of windmills and there's now a sweetie shop. "She comes in and says 'Mummy's got the best job in the world!'" "" some coments say that she can be pregnant again... i dont now... but i like the dress, and she looks great!

Yeah , I spotted those pics too davec, should have the large versions soon... As far as I know she's back to LA today or tomorrow... there was a special occasion at the weekend that she stayed for... ROFL at the story - if that's true (which I very much doubt) it's a good one... how dumb is the driver !!

The Daily Mail is a hate rag, but....
Jogging and smoking, a total dichotomy. And don't go down the libertarian line, Dave. Her lungs they may be, I don't like masochism is all.

Oh I totally agree with ya there joe - I've thought long to try and understand the idea of having a personal trainer to keep yourself fit and also continuing to smoke... obviously the training must be a shape/weight thing rather than a fitness issue.... I've never met a truly fit healthy person who smokes.... and thats going to sports events and gyms for over 20 years.... to be honest I see them all the time - in the gym, on running machines and cross trainers , then get outside and light up a cigarette... I just do a ....

Anna featured in today's Daily Mirror 3AM column. (There is a small pic.) They thought her nipping outside for a puff at the pre-Oscars do was cool. Yeah, totally rad. Whenever I see factory girls on my local industrial estate standing outside having a smoke, the first thought that enters my head is obviously, 'that is just so cool'.
